A father's suggestion ^^

Approximately 120 years ago, a young boy "Ferenc Molnar" was studying law at Budapest University, Hungary. He was staying alone in a small room in Budapest. His parents were living in their village. His parents had lots of hopes for him. But Ferenc was not a bright student. All his friends passed the exams. But he failed. He felt ashamed. He started drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. Every day he was thinking about his failure, his friends' success, his parents' money, and his future. His mind was full of depression. His body became powerless because of worry.
One night Ferenc was drinking whiskey in his room. A cigarette was in his left hand. A glass of whiskey was in his right hand. And there were some sleeping tablets on the table. His room was filled with smoke. He laid down on a sofa in a relaxing position. He liked being alone. He found relaxation in his new habits.
Suddenly the doors opened. Ferenc looked at the doors. A man was standing at the doors. He was Ferenc's father. The father entered the room and stood in front of his beloved son. They looked at each other. Their eyes met. Both the father and the son shocked at seeing each other in a terrible situation. The father never expected that his son would be in such a bad condition. The son never expected that his father would see him like this.
Ferenc slowly stood up and bent his head. The father did not express his worry. He kept his hand upon the son's shoulder and said "Don't worry, dear. It's alright. Your mother cooked and sent some food for you. Have a bath. Eat well. Take a rest. Let us talk tomorrow. I will open the windows, so the smoke will go out".
The father and the son slept in different rooms. The next morning Ferenc was reading a newspaper. His father came and sat in front of him.
The father asked "My son, what happened? Why were you having alcohol and cigarettes?
Ferenc said, "To escape from worry".
The father asked "What worry do you have? Tell me everything. Don't hide anything".
Ferenc said "I failed my exams, dad. All my friends passed. I'm a big failure. I wasted my years and your money. So I can't stop myself from worrying. When I smoke cigarettes, my mind gets relaxation. When I drink whiskey, I can forget all worries".
The father said "Cigarettes and alcohol give you temporary relaxation and permanent damage to your central nervous system. Sleeping tablets are dangerous narcotics. They harm you severely. I think you know these things. But I want to introduce you to a wonderful healthy drug that gives you permanent relaxation. It gives you amazing happiness. It gives you good sleep. It gives you health, wealth, success and everything.
"Oh what is that drug?" the son asked.
The father said "WORK. For any sorrow, there is only one medicine, better and more reliable than all the drugs in the world. It is WORK. An idle mind is the devil's workshop. If you don't have any work to do, your mind invites many devils to live inside it. But if you are busy with some useful work, your mind is full of positive thoughts, hopes, planning, and creative thinking. Then no devil can dare to enter your mind. You will have no time to worry.
Getting used to working may be a bit difficult. But if you start working, sooner or later you succeed. It has the qualities of all narcotics. It becomes habit-forming. Once the habit is formed, it is very difficult to break that habit. It is impossible to worry while you are busy doing something that requires planning and thinking. You should be so busy that you will have no time to worry. You should forget about your work. Then your life will change. You will become active, powerful, happy, satisfied and successful. Happiness will be yours. At night, you will get satisfactory sleep. Every morning you will wake up with a fresh and beautiful mind.
Ferenc remembered his father's words. He applied his father's suggestion. Since that day, Ferenc started working hard. Gradually he became a hard-worker. He became a happy man. In the passing of time, Ferenc Molnar became a successful author, a stage-director, a dramatist, and a poet. He became one of the topmost celebrities in Hungary. People of Hungary can never forget Ferenc Molnar in their lives.

The Burning Desire

Once there was an explosion in a school, in America. The horrible fire caught an eight-year-old boy "Glenn Cunningham". His waist, legs, and toes were completely burnt. There was no flesh in his legs. The doctors checked his body and decided to amputate his legs. Glenn and his parents requested the doctors not to amputate. The doctors said "He will never walk again in his life. His legs are useless. They are big burdens to his body." And they left. For many months, he sat in a wheelchair. One day Glenn decided to walk from his wheelchair. But he fell down on the floor. Many times, he used to leave his wheelchair and started walking. But he fell down. He started moving on the floor. The Two Wolves

An old man is teaching his grandson about life. Old man: A fight is going on inside me. Grandson: Oh. what kind of fight is that? Old man: It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is a bad wolf. He is anger, jealousy, worry, depression, fear, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, and guilt. The other one is a good wolf. He is happiness, peace of mind, love, hope, courage, self-confidence. Grandson: why is this fight happening inside you? Old man: The same fight is going on inside you–and inside every other person, too. In every person's heart, this fight continues as long as he is alive. Grandson: What happens if the bad wolf wins? Old man: In your heart, If the bad wolf wins, you will always be sad and depressed. You will fail in everything. Grandson: What happens if the good wolf wins? Old man: If the good wolf wins, you will always be happy and satisfied. You will always win. You will always be successful. Grandson: So which wolf will wi...
