Lizzie Velásquez was born in America. She is 30 years old now. She was born with a rare genetical syndrome. Only 3 people in the world have this syndrome. Lizzie is one of them. Due to this syndrome, Lizzie cannot gain weight. Her body cannot store fat. She has 0% fat in her body. She has to eat every 15 minutes to stay normal and healthy. Her weight is 64 pounds (29 kgs). She is also visually impaired in the right eye. Since her childhood, people have looked at her differently. In her school, many pupils did not like to build a friendship with her. She did not care. When she was 20 years old, one day she was watching youtube. While watching a video, she saw some suggested videos on the left side. She saw her photo as a Thumbnail (cover photo) on a video. It was her video. She opened that video. The title of that video was "The world's ugliest woman". Four million people have already watched that video. She has read comments.

There were thousands of brutal and merciless comments. Lizzie Velásquez read all those comments and cried. She went to hundreds of hospitals. She met hundreds of doctors. But there is no medicine for her illness. She cannot change her body.
Then she decided to prove herself. She read many motivational books. She changed her mind gradually. She stopped worrying and started being happy. With a lot of confidence, She started her own youtube channel. She started posting her motivational videos. Her youtube channel has got 800,000 subscribers. She became one of the top YouTubers in the world. She wrote 4 books such as 1) Lizzie beautiful, 2) Be beautiful, Be you, 3) Choosing happiness and 4) Dare to be kind. These books created a sensation in America. Many universities and companies invited her to give speeches.
Every year she is earning millions of dollars. Now she is a celebrity in America. Now she has everything. She has money, fame, happiness, and satisfaction. She has a caring, loving, handsome and rich boyfriend.
She was invited to many countries to give her speeches. She gives speeches on how to ignore insults, how to be happy, how to be successful etc.

My journey started in Texas. My journey started 25 years ago. To start, your journey might be positive. To start, your journey might be negative. But we are all to be meant to be put on this earth for a reason. People have called me the ugliest woman on earth. Am I gonna believe them? No. Because I believe in my journey and my purpose. You can decide right now I'm going to be brave and I'm going to find my purpose and I'm going to succeed. That is all you have to say. You are the biggest influence in your life, not anyone else.
